I am pleased to introduce both myself, Hugh Bartlett, and Young GAS, which I will be running. Young GAS is the second introduction, launched at the Pitch Event on Tuesday, designed to broaden and diversify the range of voices within GAS.
It is for all those under the age of 35 with an interest in what Green Angel Syndicate is doing, a wish to be involved in the working process of the syndicate, and a commitment to the ideals of the Green Economy and working to innovate to meet the challenges presented by Climate Change and Global Warming.
Membership is available to all, with no need to be an investor member of GAS itself, no need to pay any subscription for membership of Young GAS, and no requirement for any qualifications relating to the Green Economy. We only want enthusiasm, motivation, and a passion for the cause that GAS is fighting. We welcome all backgrounds, we actively want to recruit from as many diverse groups as possible.
The ambition for Young GAS is to provide a distinctive, relevant and constructive set of views and opinions in counterpoint to the Membership and Management, representing the views of the younger generation regarding the need for change. In order to form and express our views, Young GAS will hold events and meetings to which all are invited, at which the issues and priorities considered by Green Angel Syndicate will be discussed, our views will be formed, and they will subsequently be represented to the management and membership of the syndicate itself. I will be very pleased to hear from anyone wanting to join Young GAS. Please get in touch with me, Hugh Bartlett.
